And now there is even quite a variety within chocolate martinis in general.  Godiva has found that their special liqueur sold so well that they too have branched off and are now offering their Godiva chocolate in three distinct flavors.

Making the perfect Godiva chocolate martini
There is no one way to make a Godiva chocolate martini, it all depends on the balance of flavors that you most enjoy in a cocktail.  There are quite a few recipes out there to chose from.  Try a few of them and get an idea of just how you prefer your Godiva chocolate martini.   The most basic recipe includes Godiva chocolate liqueur, Creme de Cacao, vodka, and half-and-half.  That's all there is to it.  You then simply shake all of the ingredients together is a good martini shaker and you've got yourself a chocolate Martini.

Even with this simple recipe there are many variations that be made to further entice your palate.  Although the recipe calls for the original Dark Chocolate liqueur, you could add their white chocolate liqueur or their cappuccino liqueur.  Just changing the liqueur that you add will make a big difference in the martini -  instead you will be serving white chocolate and mocha martinis!

There are also many varieties of vodka that you can choose from that would blend well with a chocolate martini.  We suggest that you use a good quality vodka as they tend to be smoother and are much nicer for sipping that a lesser quality vodka.  There are a few companies that make a chocolate vodka, but you also might want to give vanilla flavored a try as well.  Next time you have a party get together all of the ingredients that you have found to make a different types of chocolate martinis and give your guests a choice!
